I saw Delirium this week. (Cirque du Soleil) It was awesome. I didn't go with anyone, but I don't see why I can't go alone to something I enjoy, especially when the tickets cost so dang much. I also have been eating thin mints with an unhealthy abandon. My saturated fat intake has been at least 3 to 4 times over the daily recommended value for the last three days. I should cut back but I am almost finished with my third box so I should just get it over with methinks. I think I will save my last box for a later date.

Dear Diary,
You are the only one that really "gets" me....

I dropped a class today. World history 2. It was crimping my style. Mostly because it was at 10:00 and on days when I had an 8:00 class and no 9:00 class I would fall asleep sitting on benches waiting for class to start. I really only did it because I am a semester ahead than what I thought I was and I am tired of being tired! I am really glad I dropped it right about now. I was asleep today and a phone call wakes me up at 5:40. Apparently I wasn't at practice. I thought my coach was pulling some kind of joke on me because practice is at 7:30. Well not today. So I went and ran lots stairs on 2.5 last night + 1 hour of sleep today. Talk about fun! Truthfully though I love it.
I spent an entire 2 hours today drawing. Talk about fun. Best class ever. I can't wait to take painting next year too. I might even take ceramics but it doesn't count towards an art minor so only if I have room amongst the hundreds of journalism classes I will be taking. Drawing plus Piano lessons plus modern art is the hotness. I will say that modern art does tend to be on the negative aspects of life so far. I am going to have to try to point out the positive things in the artworks. Well, if I am still allowed in class afte a certain squirt gun incident goes down. That is for another time though.
Track meet at Rose this weekend. Apparently next year we will be in the same Conference so I will be headed there quite a few times.

I watched the movie "The Omen" today in class. I didn't like it. I was actually hating it by the end. Unfortunately it won an award for its score. That means that the teacher is going to have us watch it and listen to the music. Movie wise I just couldn't take it. They are remaking it too. ugh. I did get to watch Kung Fu Hustle and that was really good.
I am running at Rose Hulman saturday. Looking forward to that.
Had orientation yesterday. Scheduled my classes. Looking forward to those. I want to change my schedule though, have to remember to email the registrar. I have been told that "modern art" > "art history." Works for me.

I want to go (ice) skating. lol

I want more snow. 50 degree weather is something other seasons do. Winter needs to be winter every year. One of the reasons I like Indiana is because it snows here. Bring on the snow.

My favorite season is winter. Apart from being cold, which isn't all that great, I do so enjoy the snow. I think winter just blows all of the other seasons away in the whole serenity department. I never want to live somewhere that doesn't snow. It would be so wrong.
